The Land That Journalism Forgot

The Land That Journalism Forgot

I’m not upset – not even surprised, just disappointed. Daily Telegraph, you should try harder. I know your friends are all scraping the bottom of the barrel, making up headlines and sensationalising all but the driest of “news” just to sell advertising space, but it doesn’t mean you have to reduce yourself to their level. I’ve spoken to you about this in the past, but you clearly need another talking to. Maybe start by sending your writers back to journalism school. To, you know, learn how to be a journalist.

Unsurprisingly, link has been removed.

Update: So presumably this is the outcome from the Telegraph’s above callout for furious families. Sorry Helen Pow, that’s still not journalism – it’s an opinion piece from ACCC chairman Rod Sims (who himself seems bent on populist grandstanding). Stringing together a bunch of quotes from a single source ain’t balanced reporting.
